Two masks define four surface color states: neither, A only, B only, and A+B overlap.

pattern boundary, recalculated from Pattern A/B's actual equation values rather than a fixed grid - works
for any preset in both Color and Cutout mode. Off preserves the original mesh exactly. Color-mode plain
STL export (single-part, no AMS colors) already uses a separate smooth vertex-colored generator and is
unaffected either way; this affects the live preview, Cutout STL export, and 3MF multi-part export.
5. Mesh Resolution
When enabled, Vertical and Radial Nodes above are computed automatically from how much
angular/vertical detail the current base equation actually needs, instead of a fixed number.
6. Experimental Tool - Field Modifier
Field modifiers remap the sampled coordinates before evaluating the selected target,
sharing the same strength and target above. The angular modifier warps theta; the optional vertical warp
additionally remaps v (recomputing z or phi to match), enabling conformal warps and vertical feature
migration. Leave the vertical warp blank for the original angular-only behavior.
7. Experimental Tool - Field Distortion
Distortion fields act after the base and texture fields are sampled, displacing the
generated body in world XYZ space. Use wind, gravity, swirl, or pressure presets as starting points, then
tune region and anchor behavior.
